What are the NETS*S standards?

National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) has been renamed to ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education), but the standards remain the same. The purpose of the standards for students is to guide educators in the evaluation of students' technology skills and knowledge in order to learn and succeed in a digital world.
